China To Coercively Sterilise 10,000 To Curb Births

Friday, April 23rd, 2010

This is being pushed in the Western world as well. If you don’t want to live in Huxley’s ‘Brave New World’, you might want to start letting people know you’re against it, doing your part to resist the resurgent agenda of the eco-fascists. The West has already been to this dark place, and there’s no need to go there again.

Health authorities are planning to sterilise nearly 10,000 people in southern China over the next four days as part of a population control programme.

Some of the people in Puning City will be forced to have the procedure carried out against their will.

Amnesty International says forced sterilisation “amounts to torture”.

Reports in the Chinese media say that Puning Health authorities in Guangdong Province have launched a special campaign to sterilise people who already have at least one child in order to ensure local birth control quotas are met.

Chinese newspaper reports say that those who refuse to be sterilised have seen their elderly mothers or fathers taken away and detained.

Hundreds of people in Puning are said to have been locked up.

Kate Allen, Director of Amnesty International UK, said: “It is appalling that the authorities are subjecting people to such an invasive procedure against their will.

The Psychiatric Drugging of Children: Inventing Disorders

Wednesday, April 21st, 2010

Between the effects of hormone-laden water and plastic products and the psychosis produced in some by these childhood mood ‘stabilizers’, you have to wonder what the effects of this chemical twisting will be on future generations.

Evelyn Pringle,
April 21, 2010

Of all the harmful actions of modern psychiatry, “the mass diagnosing and drugging of children is the most appalling with the most serious consequences for the future of individual lives and for society,” warns the world-renowned expert, Dr Peter Breggin, often referred to as the “Conscience of Psychiatry.”

“We’re bringing up a generation in this country in which you either sit down, shut up and do what you’re told, or you get diagnosed and drugged,” he points out.

Breggin considers the situation to be “a national tragedy.” “To inflict these drugs on the growing brains of infants and children is wrong and abusive,” he contends.

The kids who get drugged are often our best, brightest, most exciting and energetic children, he points out. “In the long run, we are giving children a very bad lesson that drugs are the answer to emotional problems.”

Assisted suicide voted down by MPs

Wednesday, April 21st, 2010

Euthanasia – slippery slope to eugenics or civil rights issue and matter of personal conscience? Consider that the question may only appear muddied due to the introduction of the state into the healthcare equation in the first place. If these medical life and death decisions were not centrally administered and instead fell to some established profession tightly bound by its own code of ethical and legal conduct the matter would become one of a contract between a private citizen and, say, an hospice worker trained to the level of nurse-practitioner. Absent such a contract or if the contract is in question, you’d have a potential murder case – so the state’s proper role as protector of rights would be preserved. In this journal’s opinion, doctors should be still be bound by Hippocratic oath and so must reject euthanasia as a conflict of interest as well. But at least for those still of sound mind, why not allow them to contract with some caring euthanaisist? The important thing is to decouple the role from the state which has its own concerns around health costs, the social costs of sustaining populations, and is thus in an explicit conflict of interest were it to provide death services. It’s probably good that this was voted down under these circumstances, though unfortunate that those seeking assisted suicide must be driven to the grey market. (It would have been nice if Canadians had known about this debate so they could have participated in it, though. Here’s one of the leading centres for bioethics in Canada if you want to read up on the current thinking on ethical medical practice – be sure to fill out your own living will while you’re there.)

The House of Commons has rejected a Bloc Québécois MP’s legislation to permit assisted suicide in Canada under strict conditions.

Bill C-384 was defeated Wednesday afternoon on second reading by a 228-59 margin.

The bill would have allowed doctors to avoid murder and manslaughter charges for helping terminally ill people or those in severe chronic pain to die.

Francine Lalonde, an east Montreal member of Parliament, introduced the measure. It was supported by most of her caucus and a sprinkling of MPs from the Liberals, Conservatives and NDP, because party leaders allowed a free vote.

Pakistan air strike ‘kills 71 civilians’

Tuesday, April 13th, 2010

That is a lot of civilians. At this rate, they may as well just firebomb villages. There’s compensation for the Peshawari aboriginal ethnic cleansing being offered, though – $220 US for your family – so everything is just fine. And that’s exactly what’s happening here. This mountain tribe, you know, they believe some crazy stuff, they’re independent nomads, they’re an irritant in a long standing border dispute with Afghanistan – so why not just wipe them out, herd the villagers into concentration refugee camps? At least we’re cashing in on the munitions industry. ZZZZzzzzz. There’s a map of the bombing campaign here, if you’re interested.

Military refuses to confirm deaths as local government pays out compensation to victims’ families

At least 71 civilians were killed by a misdirected air strike in Pakistan‘s tribal zone against suspected extremists, locals claimed today, as thousands of people flee a western-backed military offensive against Taliban and al-Qaida fighters in the area.

The air strike hit a house on Saturday in a remote part of the Khyber area of the tribal belt, the lawless region that borders Afghanistan. This week, the United Nations warned that more than 200,000 new refugees had been created by Pakistan’s latest anti-Taliban offensive, this time mostly from Orakzai, which borders Khyber to the south.

The Pakistani military refused to confirm the deaths but the local government administration paid out 10m rupees (£75,000) compensation, residents said. Military sources said they had targeted bunkers being constructed by extremists in the Tirah valley and it was unclear how a house could have been hit.

The episode is a significant setback to the campaign to win the support of civilians for the offensive. The house hit belonged to a tribal elder belonging to the Kukikhel, a clan loyal to the Pakistani state, and whose three sons serve in the Pakistani military.

Mercury still plagues Ont. First Nation: report

Tuesday, April 6th, 2010

Mercury poisoning has been known of since at least the 1920s. And yet these paper mills blithely continued dumping it in the river upstream of the Grassy Narrows and Islington Bands. Were they aware of the grave injustice they were causing? And why do we continue to use this known neurotoxin in certain vaccines – including flu vaccines – many of them given to children in the most crucial stages of brain development?

Grassy Narrows banned fishing in contaminated Wabigoon River 40 years ago

The health impacts of mercury poisoning in a northern Ontario First Nations community are worse now than when fishing in waters contaminated by the substance was first banned there 40 years ago, according to a report released in Toronto Tuesday.

It was exactly four decades ago, on April 6, 1970, that fishing was banned on the Wabigoon River because of mercury contamination caused by a paper mill upstream in Dryden, Ont. – owned by Reed Incorporated and subsequently Great Lakes Forest Products Limited.

The mercury poisoned fish in the Wabigoon and English river systems and continues to harm the health of more than 100 people living on the Grassy Narrows First Nation, Japanese mercury expert Dr. Masazumi Harada concluded in his report.

Harada also examined the effects of mercury contamination in another community that uses the same river system – the Wabaseemoong Independent Nations (formerly known as Islington and Whitedog).

When Harada first visited the reserves in 1975, he found people with mercury levels over three times the Health Canada limit.

Mercury is a potent neurotoxin and a persistent pollutant.

Population reduction enthusiast says “a few people with authority” should run the planet

A renowned environmentalist, known for his advocacy of population reduction as a means of offsetting climate change, has called for “a more authoritative world” where freedom comes second to tackling what he sees as the devastating effects of global warming.

Futurist James Lovelock, tells the London Guardian that he believes “It may be necessary to put democracy on hold for a while,” in order to save humanity.

“We need a more authoritative world.” Lovelock states.

“We’ve become a sort of cheeky, egalitarian world where everyone can have their say. It’s all very well, but there are certain circumstances — a war is a typical example — where you can’t do that.” the 90 year old proponent of the Gaia hypothesis adds.

“You’ve got to have a few people with authority who you trust who are running it. And they should be very accountable too, of course.”

Boston news item on problem additive to Chinese fluoride neglects mention of fluoride toxicity

Saturday, March 13th, 2010

In case the Boston revelation that the Chinese are cutting fluoride with something – likely melamine – isn’t enough, in case all of the studies that the article’s author points you towards, or the mainstream Canadian news items StatismWatch has dredged up from the archives, or even the issue of medication without consent – in case that pile of evidence that fluoride has deleterious effects isn’t enough to convince you this should be looked at, you can always turn to the fact that birth defects are cropping up in Indian villages and kangaroos and cattle are getting sick after exposure to it.

Kurt Nimmo,

The “investigative” team at WCVB TV in Boston ran a story yesterday about an unknown substance in fluoride imported from China. “Team 5 Investigates found the Amesbury Water Department pulled fluoride from its system amid concerns about its supply from China,” the news station reported. “Department of Public Works Director Rob Desmarais said after he mixes the white powder with water, 40 percent of it will not dissolve.” Desmarais said the residue clogs his machines and makes it difficult to get a consistent level of fluoride in the town’s water.

In the video report below, WCVB mentions melamine in food products and the heavy metal cadmium in toys imported from China while completely ignoring the larger and more important issue – fluoride is an extremely dangerous toxin that kills.

“Fluoride is added to the water most of us drink because the government believes it’s a safe and inexpensive way to prevent tooth decay.”

Fluoride does not prevent tooth decay. According to numerous studies, water fluoridation actually increases tooth decay. The AMA and others fallaciously claim that fluoride added to over 62% of U.S. water supplies reduces tooth decay. However, no less than six studies from dental journals show it does not and, in fact, may increase the likelihood of dental cavities.

Exposure to fluoride often results in dental fluorosis. Large numbers of U.S. young people – estimated up to 80 percent in some cities – now have dental fluorosis, the first visible sign of excessive fluoride exposure. Dental fluorosis consists of damage to tooth-forming cells, leading to a defect in tooth enamel. It is also an indicator of fluoride damage to bones.

Obama Supports DNA Sampling Upon Arrest

Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

Of course he does. In order to avoid unceasing surprise at anything Obama does, ask yourself one question – “What would George W. Bush do?”. Obama’s backed by the same institutions. This would have been perfectly clear from the beginning, if it hadn’t for the media fawning all over the guy, pulling the wool over everyone’s eyes. As Alexander Cockburn wrote in the Toronto Star on November 3, 2008, change should be more than a slogan.

David Kravets,

Josh Gerstein over at Politico sent Threat Level his piece underscoring once again President Barack Obama is not the civil-liberties knight in shining armor many were expecting.

Gerstein posts a televised interview of Obama and John Walsh of America’s Most Wanted. The nation’s chief executive extols the virtues of mandatory DNA testing of Americans upon arrest, even absent charges or a conviction. Obama said, “It’s the right thing to do” to “tighten the grip around folks” who commit crime.

When it comes to civil liberties, the Obama administration has come under fire for often mirroring his predecessor’s practices surrounding state secrets, the Patriot Act and domestic spying. There’s also Gitmo, Jay Bybee and John Yoo.

Now there’s DNA sampling. Obama told Walsh he supported the federal government, as well as the 18 states that have varying laws requiring compulsory DNA sampling of individuals upon an arrest for crimes ranging from misdemeanors to felonies. The data is lodged in state and federal databases, and has fostered as many as 200 arrests nationwide, Walsh said.

The American Civil Liberties Union claims DNA sampling is different from mandatory, upon-arrest fingerprinting that has been standard practice in the United States for decades.

A fingerprint, the group says, reveals nothing more than a person’s identity. But much can be learned from a DNA sample, which codes a person’s family ties, some health risks, and, according to some, can predict a propensity for violence.

The curse of Fallujah: Women warned not to have babies because of rise in birth defects since U.S. assault

Thursday, March 4th, 2010

It’s interesting how quickly the plight of children occurs to the state when the outcome is to remove rights and accrue centralized power – and how slow any recognition of children’s suffering is when the necessary outcome must be to detach, decentralize, and withdraw. Witness Canada’s residential schools, the eagerness of Children’s Protective Services in the US to fulfill their quotas by snatching kids from families with a dirty dish in the sink nevermind the continuing rampant abuse in state custody, the Thalidomide apology – only fifty years late, the use of children as a pretext to treat everyone online as some potential paedophile by implementing filters and restricting anonymity, etc., etc. Of course, none of that matters if you’re putting a child through a naked body scanner, which breaks UK law. Children are treated as our pawns, empty vessels onto which we project all the grotesque evil of our adult world. They cannot help but reflect this back to us psychologically – and in some cases physically. It is,literally, heartbreaking.

The Daily Mail
March 4, 2010

Fatima Ahmed, born after the assault in Fallujah, has deformities that include two heads.

A high number of children are being born with birth defects in an Iraqi city where U.S. forces may have used chemical weapons during a fierce battle in 2004.

Children in Fallujah are being born with limb, head, heart and nervous system defects. There is even a claim that a baby was born with three heads.

The number of heart defects among newborn babies is said to be 13 times higher than the rate in Europe.

The city, 40 miles west of Baghdad, was the scene of some of the fiercest fighting of the Iraq war in late 2004. U.S. Marines led Operation Phantom Fury to recapture it from insurgents.

British troops were involved in manning checkpoints on the outskirts of the city as the Americans went in. The U.S. has admitted that it used white phosphorus in the attack, but only as an illumination device.

Under international law it is illegal if used as an offensive weapon. America has never given a clear response to claims it also used depleted uranium weapons against the insurgents, such as ‘bunkerbuster’ bombs. Both types of weapons can contaminate crops and water supplies.

Residential school graves research a daunting task

Historian John Milloy wants to investigate the number of residential school students who are buried at cemeteries like this one in Fort Resolution, N.W.T. (CBC)

Investigations into cases of students who died or went missing while attending Canada’s residential schools are a priority for the Indian Residential Schools Truth and Reconciliation Commission, says the group’s new research director.

Trent University history professor John Milloy was appointed last month as director of research for the federal commission, which is charged with creating a historical account of the residential school system, helping people heal and encouraging reconciliation.

The Missing Children Research Project was launched in 2008 with the aim of documenting how many children died, went missing or were buried in unmarked graves at residential schools across the country from the late 1800s through much of the 1900s.

However, work on the project was delayed for a year when infighting at the $60-million truth and reconciliation commission led to the resignation of its three commissioners.

Though the restructured commission has yet to come up with a firm budget for the missing children project, Milloy’s appointment in January raises hopes that the project has regained momentum.
