Right. And electrocution by TASER wasn’t the cause of Robert Dziekanski’s death, either. He may have drank a little and was ‘agitated’. Really, he could have keeled over at any minute. It’s just a coincidence that he died immediately after having cops stand on him and viciously TASER him five times. This is all within the realm of possibility, but in the real world, there is ample evidence to suggest both 1) concern with the HPV shot and 2) a high level of touchiness in the NHS on this issue. Why would that be, we wonder? Is this where the term ’spin doctor’ comes from?

A British teenager who died after she received a vaccine against a virus that causes cervical cancer likely was killed by a tumour, a coroner’s inquest heard Thursday.
Natalie Morton, 14, died in a hospital shortly after receiving the Cervarix vaccine at her school on Monday. The vaccine targets two strains of the human papilloma virus that cause cervical cancer.
“The pathologist has confirmed today at the opening of the inquest into the death of Natalie Morton that she died from a large malignant tumour of unknown origin in the heart and lungs,” said Dr. Caron Grainger, joint director of public health for the Coventry area where Natalie died, about 160 kilometres northwest of London.
“There is no indication that the HPV vaccine, which she had received shortly before her death, was a contributing factor to the death, which could have arisen at any point,” Grainger said in a statement.
Natalie’s stepfather, Andrew Bullock, said she was “kind, fun-loving and had a beautiful smile.”
The maker of Cervarix, GlaxoSmithKline, has recalled the batch of vaccine that was used at the school.
Since Britain’s National Health Service started offering the Cervarix vaccine to teenage girls last year, more than 1.4 million doses have been given out. [Ed. Note: Yes - with underreported consequences.]
Another vaccine against the cervical cancer virus is routinely administered to teenage girls in North America and elsewhere in Europe. [Ed. Note: Underreported injuries here, too]
An estimated 1,350 women in Canada are diagnosed with cervical cancer annually, while about 400 women die of cervical cancer a year.
